Human history simulatorEARTH

A civilization that runs autonomously from prehistory. Simulated residents find food, form families, invent and pass on knowledge. There is no script, and technologies do not unlock just because a year arrives. We stream this world's history on YouTube.

History provides the foundations. Autonomous simulation creates the outcomes. Viewers can change the story.

The live world

Watch a civilization emerge

The stream shows a pixel world from above: residents, shelters, forests, rivers and hearths. Days advance on the server. The director moves closer for major events and tours different residents between them.

Autonomous development

Simulation rules govern survival, social contact, births, crafting and experiments. The same seed is reproducible; resuming a save continues the same history.

Civilization stages

From hunting and gathering to early cultivation, agriculture and industrial agriculture. Stages follow the abilities residents actually hold, rather than dates.

A simulated world

Residents, families and events are computer simulations, not a reconstruction or prediction of real history.
